We have been slowly working on the nursery for several months now. It's been so much fun planning out the colors and layout of how we want everything. Plus, Dusty and I got to spend so much more time together as we painted the nursery! Although he did 95% of it, I tried to help the best I could. We make a great team! He did an amazing job though, and I LOVE how it turned out.
Before we painted color on the walls, Dusty went through and painted the entire room white. The room has never been painted since the house was built, so the room was white, but it was with flat paint. We painted the door, closet doors, baseboards, ceiling, and walls and it looked so much better just after doing that.
After the room was painted white, we made a trip to Walmart to get paint swatches to find the right colors to match the crib bedding sets. After we decided on the colors, we got the room taped off, got our painting clothes on, and started with the brushes again.
Now here is where the room goes from "white to bright"!!
