Busy Mommy!

Here it is 19 weeks and 1 day since I gave birth to our twins. As I sit here and type this post, I am starring at my adorable baby boys as they nap. Now there is no telling when they'll wake, or if I will even finish this post, but I haven't written a post in so long, but trust me I have started to write MANY times. I am sure all you mothers understand that once you have children you just don't have the free time you are used to. My toenails are still Halloween colors, my eye brows are atrocious, and my house desperately needs cleaning, but my babies come first and lately they seem to need their mommy a lot.

The past 2 weeks we have been battling all types of illnesses in our house. It all started when Dusty came home with a body ache, congestion, fever/chills, and a sore throat. So I made him stay in our room for 2 days away from all 3 of us and I even left town to go hunting. We used our doTERRA oils on the boys and myself to keep from getting it. Well 2 weeks after Dusty got it, it caught up to the 3 of us. However, ours was different. But caring for sick twins while being sick yourself has been a challenge. I just wanted to curl up in my bed, and I couldn't. But I knew that if I felt as crappy as I did, I could only image how terrible my babies felt. Plus, they didn't know what was going on. All they knew was they didn't feel good, and they couldn't breathe, and why the heck was mommy torturing them by sucking out their noses. Then a couple days after the colds hit, Paxtin got diarrhea. Our diaper supply diminished pretty rapidly. He had it for about a week and he has gotten over it but is still a bit congested and has a cough. Well now Channing has had diarrhea for about 4 days, and not only does he have that, yesterday his eye started to get very red inside and out. Last night it was almost swelled shut. This morning he woke up and it was very goopy. I think he has pink eye. So tomorrow Channing and I are off to the doctor. We can't catch a break, but we are doing our best and hoping for happy and healthy holidays.

                           3 days of diapers!

Life is busy, although I never leave the house, it's busy. The babies are starting to get the cutest personalities each day. They are learning and talking and it's so much fun. They are getting so big. They love to be sang to, played with, and they are spoilt. Paxtin loves to look at himself in the mirror and it's so adorable, and Channing loves to watch me. I can be walking in and out of the room and he watches every move I make. When I look at him, he grins! It melts my heart. I seriously didn't know my heart could hold so much love, but my love grows each day for the 3 amazing guy/boys in my life. I love my little family.

                  Channing loves "Patty-Cake"!

Well I know this post is short, but at least I had 10 minutes to hurry and write one. We hope you are all staying well and preparing for the holiday season. I love this time of year with Thanksgiving and Christmas and family time. Be safe and healthy everyone!!
