To some people our story isn't extraordinary or anything of the sort, but to us our story is one of a kind. It's not like a fairy tale either because fairy tales have "happy endings". Our story doesn't have an ending...It goes for eternity. And it's different, because....It's OURS!! Dusty and I started dating in June 2008, shortly after he returned home from serving an LDS mission in Oakland, California. Being 2 years older than me, and going to the same high school, we really didn't "know" each other. But that night in June 2008 when we started flirting, dating, getting to know each other, is when our lives changed forever. We dated for 3 months and fell more in love with each other everyday. Then there was that special night on August 29, 2008 that Dusty got down on one knee proposing to me with the most romantic proposal EVER! Not only was it the night I got ENGAGED but it was my 19th birthday. We were married exactly 3 months later, on a beautiful November 29th morning, at the St. George Temple. A smile never left my face from the time I opened my eyes that morning. It was the most AMAZING day of our lives.
To make a long story, short...We went to Kona, Hawaii on our honeymoon. For the first year and a half of our marriage we lived in a small, one bedroom apartment. Then in March 2010 we took that big step and bought a house of our own. Now we live in a 3 bedroom home that we LOVE!! It's so perfect.
To this day we still live in our 3 bedroom home; and up until the end of 2010, we had what we both considered an "easy-going" life. However, that all changed Christmas morning of that year. ...but that's another story for another time.
